چکیده
For nonsinusoidal electromotive force (NS-EMF) multiphase machines, this article proposes a new strategy and control scheme to guarantee smooth torque under an open-phase fault. Notably, the conventional proportional–integral controllers implemented for vector in healthy mode can be used faulty mode. The is based on reduced-order transformations while applies simple artificial intelligence algorithm using specific online-trained adaptive linear neuron (ADALINE). Indeed, inputs of ADALINE require knowledge rotor position NS-EMF harmonic rank optimize learning time. proposed are tested seven-phase machine with strong total distortion (THD) NS-EMFs, containing numerous harmonics H k (THD = 38% 100% H1, 32.3% H3, 9.4% H7, 12.5% H9, 10.3% H11). Numerical experimental results presented article. This accompanied by video demonstrating results.

Fault Tolerant Multiphase Electrical Drives: The Impact of Design
This paper deals with fault tolerant multiphase electrical drives. The quality of the torque of vector-controlled Permanent Magnet (PM) Synchronous Machine supplied by a multi-leg Voltage Source Inverter (VSI) is examined in normal operation and when one or two phases are open-circuited. It is then deduced that a seven-phase machine is a good compromise allowing high torque-to-volume density an...

A Fault-Tolerant Control (FTC) methodology has been presented for nonlinear processes being imposed by control input constraints. The proposed methodology uses a combination of Feedback Linearization and Model Predictive Control (FLMPC) schemes. The resulting constraints in the transformed process will be dependent on the actual evolving states, making their incorporation in the de...

This paper proposes an algorithm for direct flux and torque controlled three phase induction motor drive systems. This method is based on control of slip speed and decoupled between amplitude and angle of reference stator flux for determining required stator voltage vector. Within the given sampling time, flux as well as torque errors are controlled by stator voltage vector which is evaluated f...
